About HiveRec
Built inside a working agency
HiveRec started as the system one temp agency needed. Now it is built for any UK agency that supplies temps.
Where it started
HiveRec was built with SRS Recruiting, a UK driving agency, around the work of registering drivers, booking shifts and chasing timesheets. We then added sector packs so agencies in other sectors can use it too.
How we build
Rules first.
Before we build a check, we research the regulation and write down what it says, with sources. Where the law leaves a point open, HiveRec warns instead of blocking.
Worked examples become tests.
The examples in our research run as automated tests, so HiveRec gives the same answer as the worked examples.

HiveRec is made by MCR Labs, a software studio in Manchester. We also make RateCalc.io, a rate calculator for recruiters.
